Good Morning, Girls!

That's what I say to my hens each morning when I walk out to their noisy greetings. This whimsical totem includes three happy hens, each displaying her own personality. This was my first soda-fired totem, with the hens fired to cone 10. The remaining pieces were made using a variety of methods. It can reside indoors or out, and should be protected from winds where it could be toppled as, like all ceramic artwork, it is fragile. It should be brought indoors for the winter.
